GREAT SITES - FROM THE LIBRARIAN INTERNET INDEX






Another interesting collection of Web-Sites from LII this week. First a couple relating to Valentine's Day which is approaching fast.

MAKING VALENTINES: A TRADITION IN AMERICA
This online exhibit "is designed to show the evolution of the Valentine's Day card." It features annotated images of early Valentine cards from before 1850 as well as samples from a company which was is in existance from 1866 to 1942.

This site allows visitors to hear sound clips, view videos, and see visualization of animal sounds. Some feature require free software downloads. My wife will love this site!
